LibreRandonaut is an open-source Android app for generating true random coordinates that allow users to explore their surroundings and perform the activity "randonauting". It interfaces with the QRNG at the Australian National University, where it obtains a list of quantum random numbers, converts them to coordinates, and then computes the Gaussian kernel density estimate of those coordinates to find a point with a statistically anomalous density.

LibreTasks will allow you to set up certain triggers, such as plugging in your phone or missing a call, and allow you to specify certain actions that are done when that trigger occurs, such as sending a SMS or pausing your media.

Some popular Bitcoin Lightning wallets, like Muun, don't support email-like Lightning addresses. This app allows paying to such addresses by turning them to convenient invoices. It doesn't add any extra fee to your payment. This utility is launched when you interact with addresses in your browser or other apps. Here's how it is done: Clicking an address Sometimes, a Lightning address is a clickable link, just like an email. When you click it, LN Address to Invoice appears. Selecting an address Often a Lightning address is just a text. In this case, select it and in the appeared system menu look for the "Send sats" action. Copy-pasting an address You can always just copy an address and paste into LN Address to Invoice with the Paste button in the header of the intro screen, or with the "Paste address" launcher icon shortcut.

Limbo is a qemu-based x86 architecture emulator for android devices. With limbo, you can emulate a complete desktop computer on your device and install various systems (FreeDOS, Windows, KolibriOS, various GNU/Linux distributes and any other x86-compatible OS). Limbo has a wide selection of settings, allowing you to change available RAM, number of emulated cores, type of CPU, mount hard-drive and cd-rom images, select emulated graphics, network and audio card types and many more. Access to the emulated desktop is done inside limbo with the inbuilt VNC viewer, SDL mode or an external VNC. To connect to an external VNC, you can use https://f-droid.org/packages/com.coboltforge.dontmind.multivnc or https://f-droid.org/packages/android.androidVNC clients available in F-Droid. On android devices with x86-based CPU (Intel Atom), Limbo can run with KVM mode, allowing for much better perfomance. Keep in mind, limbo is a complete emulation of another CPU architecture, so you most likely won't be able to run modern operating systems with reasonable perfomance.

For those who don't know, WhatsApp needs to backup the conversations because it doesn't work based on cloud, like Telegram or Messenger, but instead of just keeping the last one. It keeps the last one and up to 7 backups prior to it. Why? I don't know. When I run out of space the first thing I do is delete these old backups and that's what this application is for. The big letters were a feedback received by potential users who no longer have such a good view.

This very simple app provides an app icon for the LineageOS updater. It works around the fact that the Updater app does not have its own icon in the launcher and can only be launched from a submenu of the Settings app. (The Settings widget can also be used, but it has the same icon as the Settings app and is not available in the app drawer.) It probably also works with most other vendor updaters.

It's a plugin for Muzei, which is an Android live wallpaper app, by Roman Nurik and Ian Lake. Since Reddit changed API access rules we need a Reddit API auth for each user.

Local IP adds a tile to be used in QuickSettings that displays Local and Public IP Address.

The backend passively monitors the GPS and scans for nearby WiFis and mobile cells/towers. From this a database of emitter locations is created. When UnifiedNlp / microG request a location from Local NLP Backend, a scan for nearby emitter is initiated and a location determined based on the scan results. Local NLP Backend is a fork of the Déjà Vu NLP Backend with some improvements and a crude UI for configuration and importing / exporting data, including cell lists from MLS or OpenCelliD. This backend uses no network data. All data acquired by the phone stays on the phone, though it may be exported manually. How to use: Local NLP Backend can be used like Déjà Vu: just enable the backend and let it build up the database by frequently having GPS enabled, e.g. using a map app. If you have a Déjà Vu database (you'll need root privileged to extract it), it can be imported in Local NLP Backend. Further import options are databases exported by Local NLP Backend, and cell csv files from MLS or OpenCelliD. Note that the local database needs to be filled, either using GPS or by importing data, before Local NLP Backend can provide locations! In order to speed up building the database, LocalNLP has an optional active mode that enabled GPS when there is no known emitter nearby (low setting) or when any unknown emitter is found (aggressive setting). Note that microG has stopped supporting UnifiedNlp backends with 0.2.28. If you still want to use this backend (or others), you need to use older microG versions. This can only be recommended if you use microG for location only. Personally I use 0.2.10, as with later versions location backends stop providing locations after some time.

Local Storage uses the new Storage Access Framework to allow other applications to read or write any file in your primary storage and read from secondary external storage devices (such as SD cards). On Android 5.0+ devices, you can also select entire directories and rename files.Note that this app is not meant to be used by itself (although we do provide some sample queries), but to be used to enable other applications access to files they would normally not be able to see - you shouldn’t ever need to actually open this app!

Note: this project seems to be abandoned. LocalProxy provides local proxy service on the device. This with the main objective of carrying out the authentication process with a proxy server and in this way allow access to the Internet in the installed applications.Initially it is very similar to applications like UCIntlm or UCIProxy, that is, it allows access to the Internet through the proxy server of a certain institution. Its difference lies in the idea that led to its development: it must operate in as many Cuban institutional networks as possible.
