Program app for the HOPE_16 conference (2025) https://hope.net H.O.P.E. stands for Hackers On Planet Earth, one of the most creative and diverse hacker events in the world. It's been happening since 1994. Thousands of people from around the world come to HOPE. Join us for three full days and nights of activities, including provocative and enlightening speakers that the HOPE conferences are known for. The conference is in-person on the St. John's University campus in Queens, New York City. Many sessions will also be available online. Past HOPE events have featured fascinating talks, inspirational keynotes, and workshops on every topic from lockpicking to getting a ham radio license to analyzing Android malware. HOPE has showcased new movies, had cool live performances, done live radio broadcasts, and much, much more. Past speakers include Steve Wozniak, Jello Biafra, and Edward Snowden. HabsGleich enables you to note small changes of your mind's performance without referring to non-personal standard tests or uploading sensitive data to third party servers. To this end you collect adventures in the diary on a rougly daily basis. The choice and language of the adventures should be consistent over time and the time between noting two subsequent adventures should not vary too much from one day. After some time the app begins to choose adventures from the diary for mind testing. This choice is adaptive to your mind performance in such a way that you always can expect to have more positive than negative results. The test results are amalgated into a single number, the "mind index". Its value is roughly the number of days you still remember your adventures rather well after. The temporal graph of this mind index is displayed on the statistics page of the app. The diary can be used to search, edit and remove adventures. The Hacker's Diet, published by John Walker, founder of Autodesk, Inc, and co-author of AutoCAD, as a handy Android app. You can track your weight and excercise and get a weighted moving average of your weight's change over time. The app can be used completely offline, with local backups being created as well. You can also optionally synchronise your weight to the Hacker's Diet Online at https://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/HackDiet which has additional features like weight gain/loss goals, Trend calculations, graphs over long periods and more.

There are about thirty different languages covered, which can be enabled in the settings. For the five-row layout, the keyboard has separate number keys, punctuation in the usual places; tab, ctrl and arrow keys. It is based on the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard, so it supports multitouch for the modifier keys. Completion dictionaries are only possible via plug-in packages, available from the website, though there is no template for building these from source. Anysoftkeyboard dictionaries don't appear to work. The permissions requested by the application are those needed by the underlying Gingerbread keyboard. It uses the contacts information for completion of names and email addresses, and audio recording for the voice input feature.

Hail is a free-as-in-freedom software to freeze Android apps. Enjoy all features freely! Hamburger is an open client app for the news provided by the oldest German public broadcaster. It does not contain any trackers. Connections are made only to a predetermined set of servers and not to data dealers. If your eyes are positioned horizontally and if you think that vertical videos are not so hot, this app may be for you. Also contains access to Teletext! And, if you like, you may filter articles that contain certain words. Needs Android 5 or newer.
